Write a fiction story from your chart. Allow three years for each house.
Using your own memories, but allowing for imagination, write your way to discoveries concerning the characters in this story. If you’d like, ask your character to tell you of the years associated with each house.
First house: Who are you? How do your parents, siblings and others describe you? What do you look like? If your rising sign is Cancer, you may have a round face. If your rising sign is Gemini, you may be thin. If Capricorn, you may appear very serious. Complete this sentence, “I Am…” You may have to complete that sentence several times to find the truth. Second house: What do you own and what do you value? What do you want to do to earn a living when you grow up? Tell me about the feel of earth – of the tangibles of childhood. Third house: Speak your mind, write your thoughts. You are making up your own mind. Who are your siblings? Describe the locality of your childhood. Where did you go in your local area? Describe the family car(s)? Tell me the family slang, terms you invented. How do you converse with each other? Tell me about learning to write and to read. “I think…”
Fourth house: Tell me about your parents. Tell me about your home. Tell me your habits, what you learned from your environment and upbringing. Including bad habits you’d like to break. Include family traditions that you like to follow. When all is through, you will come back to this house again in old age. Who will you be as an old wo/man? In what ways will you be like the child you were? How will you be changed? Where will you live? Describe the circumstances of your final years. “I feel…”
Fifth house: Who are your friends? What kind of risks have you taken as you stepped away from what you knew and from how you were raised? Tell me about your first crush. “I will…”
Sixth house: Tell about the first job you had and about your sense of responsibility. “I serve…”
Seventh house: nineteen through twenty-one. Who first stole your heart and to whom you first made a commitment in marriage or other union. What was the nature of the conflicts that arose as two became one? Into what other kinds of partnerships did you enter? How have you learned about yourself through interaction with an “other”? “I relate…”
Eighth house: Did you borrow to go to school? Rent a house? Work at a job that increased someone else’s wealth. Did you become interested in the unseen, want to know more than just the pretty surface of things? Eighth house is other people’s resources and what you may seek – what is hidden. “I desire…”
Ninth house: Tell me your philosophy. Where you went to college. Where you traveled; how much of the world you saw. What did you learn that was exotic and foreign to your upbringing? Do you have inlaws? A second marriage? That would fit in this area. “I seek…”
Tenth house: The ruler of this house, Saturn, has returned to the place it held when you were born and you began to find out who you were/are as a grown-up, what responsibilities you have that no one else could shoulder and how you make your own way in the world. Who are you in the world? How have you made/ are you making your mark on the world? What is your status? How do you seek fame? In what ways have you come to be known? Accepted? Eleventh house: What did you achieve? Have you returned to school, perhaps graduate school? Tell me about the groups you are associated with? What unique skills do you offer? What have you learned that will benefit your wider circle of friends and acquaintances? What awards, rewards, monetary advancements and recognition have you acquired? “I aspire…”
Twelfth house: You must go at this one slant. You must dive below the surface of what you know and write your way or paint, dance or sing your way to what is hidden in this house. In the eighth house, you were seeking what was hidden by others and the Universe, but that you knew existed. In this house, you seek what you don’t know, can’t see, what is hidden in you, by you, from you. What have you let go? What dissolved on its own? How are you to serve the world? Who were/are your secret enemies? In what ways do you sabotage yourself? What have you dealt with in this life that you feel came with you from some other? What old issues surfaced only to dissolve and make way for a renewal of energy to bring you to a new round? “I understand…”
